One day when my dad was putting me to bed, we had this conversation.

DAD: Thanks for singing today, Kalli. You have a really pretty voice.

ME: Yeah.

DAD: When you get bigger are you going to sing for people and make them happy?

ME: (Long Pause) ... what, like a rockstar?







Yes, that's my dad's voice. He's a regular Joe Jackson / Joe Simpson. You will dance!

Chillin'

Sometimes my daddy takes me to work with him on Saturday mornings. And sometimes he has stuff to do and so I ask him if I can play a computer game in his office. And also sometimes I ask for something to eat. So I don't know why my dad was so surprised when he walked in his office and I was on the computer, with my feet on the desk, eating a slice of cold pizza. But he found it very funny.
